On Seeing Sai Baba on YouTube Did you see him in his saffron robe Walking slowly as they touched his feet, An aura of freedom and a wealth of grace As some Russian boys sang softly, sweet, Oche Nash, a modern 'Lord's Prayer'. I watched and then a peace came over me And knew one day my faults would fall away Embraced by love as an island by the sea. What a marvel of our age YouTube is, All the music of my youth is there, Artistic beauty for all to see and hear A temple built of song and often prayer. Transcendent moments that draw the Godhead near.

Light-Filled Land I took the reins of the morning sun And rode upon its silver rays My time on earth was not yet done, Before me lay a thousand ways And dreams I had not dreamed before Of love the gift and joy new -found, When through the spirit's open door I saw a vision and heard the sound Of anklet bells in a distant clime. A child of God came near to me In a place where no one measured time, It seemed a gold eternity. I recognized my being there, No longer aged, no longer worn But young among the young and fair, In that light-filled land reborn.

Words From Above 9/18/09 You want peace? You struggle, weep, Devising methodologies To keep the warring tribes at bay, And yet within you peace has fled; Turbulent mind and troubled heart Keep peace away and stifle love. Establish first the peace within, No outward violence disturb Its luminous and silver reign, The roiling waters of your being Calm, the restless vital nature Still, the tranquil mind receive That peace imbue with strength and grace The mission for which your soul has come. Trust in That alone, the force Divine, of the transforming power.

Song For A Beautiful Soul Aug. 23, 2011 I set aside desire's hands To see you as you truly are A vision come from eastern lands Or fallen from some distant star, A miracle of flowering grace A song that quickens in my heart The haunting beauty of your face A Masterpiece of the Maker's art. And yet I know that you are more Than hand might touch or eye might see, A living goddess to adore A wave of laughter charming me To silence as I gaze awhile And bask in the sunlight of your smile.

The Reign of Evil Ends April 8, 2011 Now the darkness fast descends, On earth the broken bodies lie Terrorism takes its toll Beneath an ever watchful eye That sees and knows and sanctions all Till evil from our hearts is gone And lifted is death’s sombre pall, The Light of Truth on earth is won And the reign of evil ends.

This Being Yields May 16, 2011 Who within this body cries Against the worlds atrocities Who counsels me to seek within To find the cause of life's disease? Who comes in dreams to counsel me Protect me from the enemy, To conquer my desires and fears And turns me towards divinity. Who guides these hands, this wayward mind That before the hour I may find What I have sought through endless years Sought and found though still half blind, Who am the more I must become Though body slows and senses numb And often feel the hour nears Yet will not yield though burdensome This pain that gnaws yet slowly heals. Remembrance through my

Dreams July 17, 2011 Once more a rush of dreams that correspond To nothing I have known or felt before It seems as if malignant forces try To enter through the inner sanctum's door. They fail, for I am undisturbed and wake To view them as they truly are, unreal To soul experience, but now must learn The reason why they intrude and why I feel When deep in sleep, uneasiness and pain That those I love should act with venomous zeal, Unnatural with harsh unloving word And all the calm supporting me unseat.

Love All July 20, 2011 "Love all, no exceptions", said the voice, Not as command but speaking to my soul. Clearly it spoke, I heard and shall obey, See the faults of others as my faults, Meet hostility and violence with calm, Returning love in every circumstance And realize that I must grow within, Myself to change who cannot change the world By outward means, but gaining peace within Amid the despoliation and deceit Of forces inimical to life and love. The daily prayer must be of offering, Surrender to the One ingeniously Hidden in the seed and in the stone, To dedicate the self, this breathing clay, Past, present and future give to him And
