The daily entries are preceded by an undated general note, written probably on 26 November.       Record of the Yoga, 1913. January.   This heading was written (in three lines) inside the front cover of the exercise book used to keep the Record of 1-31 January 1913. Notes on the Texts       Record of Yoga: Script, C. 6 January 1927. NB R26: 34-35, 37-39. This writing is found in a letter pad used by Sri Aurobindo for the Record in early 1927. It must have been written no later than 6 January of that year,1 and possibly a few days earlier. The brief notes at the beginning are followed by an expanded presentation of the same points on the subsequent pages. The editors have classified the writing as "script" (see the previous issue, pp. 97-98), since the word "you" obviously refers to Sri Aurobindo.
