Dear Narad, Thank you for your quick answer (mine was not that quick!). I would appreciate if you could give me m c-mail address of Manoj Das Gupta. Just a quick note to thank you for the web site. I hope this is an appropriate email address to do so. Tomorrow I will finish Savitri, having relied entirely on the site. It will be the satisfying end of a very productive three years in which I was able to finish Essays on the Gita, Synthesis of Yoga and The Life Divine as well (and a degree in law!). Generally, I tried to get through one Canto per day - printing them out at night and reading them during my commute the next day. Amal's replies to Narad and Mary Helen on Savitri.htm "Babble of the voices" would not say much or would do no more than characterise the voices as rather childish. "Babel" alludes to a legend in antiquity that at Babylon there were so many nations gathered to build a tower that their various tongues got mixed up and confused. It is the confusion that is referred to in Sri Aurobindo's line and called the "babel".
