His
Blessing Hand
March 12, 2011
My heart shall sing, my eyes look lovingly
Upon the whispering grass, the soaring
spires
Of mountains that
approach the feet of God.
The 'Northern Lights' spread their evening
fires
Across the calming blue
of Krishna's sky.
Morning, the gilt-edged clouds move
languidly
As I prepare to greet the lordly sun.
Beneath my feet the crunch of frozen sod
From winter's touch, for spring has just
begun
With daffodils beneath
the cherry tree.
I have returned from a sacred Eastern land
Aflame within, enfolded by such love
As rarely felt; it seems the touch of God
Descended from a glowing realm above
Has blessed my s
At Her Feet III
March 10, 2011
In Brindhavan where
the Gopi's play
Krishna came one summer day
And stamped upon their hearts His name
And so began the timeless game
Of man and God and man's desire
Rising like an incense spire
To know and live a life of love
Petitioning the Lord above
An answer to our fervent prayers
To descend once more the heavenly stairs
That we again might see His face,
Of evil and darkness lose all trace
And taste that moment rare and sweet,
Surrendered fully at Her Feet.

The
Truth I Could Not See
Aug.
21, 2011
I hoped the Lord of Life to meet
But could not reach to touch his feet
So glued was I to my small ways
Proud and stubborn all my days.
But I was young and did not know
That when he called my soul would go
And find in Him all that I sought
Unknowingly and when I caught
First sight of Her my life began.
So strong the force I from Her ran,
Embracing life I worked and dreamed
Of all that so important seemed.
Now I live in peace, alone,
Perhaps past karma to disown
But now Their love has opened me
To the truth I am but could not see.
The Eternal Bride
April 14, 2011
I would capture beauty as I
capture life
From the microcosm to the
vasts of space
Remembering the look in
certain eyes
That shone with Truth in many
a passing face.
I would find love in the
common and the vile,
Tear the veil from every false
façade
To see the light that blossoms
from the soul
And know each being carrier of
God.
I would root the darkness out
that still remains
Companion to the darker realms
of me
And in a bath of Grace cleanse
my soul
And see myself
as I must truly be,
A bridegroom wed to the
eternal bride
Upon this
spinning globe on which we ride.
To
the Lord of Life
Mar. 24, 2011
Suddenly the trees,
Skeletons of might
Awake from winter sleep
Greening overnight.
From barren earth there springs
Magical to the eyes
Beauty beyond belief,
Surprise upon surprise,
Where yesterday one saw
Naught but dust dry leaves,
Now a thousand sparkling hues,
Rainbow symphonies.
And in this joy I dwell
And in each moment live
And to the Lord of life
Give all that I can give.
Since
Time Began
March
17, 2011
Wisps of fog come drifting through the
trees,
Majestic soaring of the regal firs,
A sun-edge cloud blown by a steady breeze,
And in my heart a deep emotion stirs.
Ascending through the serried realms of
light
I soar on golden wings my soul to rest
And on the boughs of ancient trees alight.
This world is made for beauty, not a test
Or trial we must endure for Paradise,
The promise for the good and faithful few
Who enter as the heavenly minstrel cries
Welcome, welcome, welcome, to each of you!
Earth is the place where men and angels
meet
Upon this soil where the blood of ages ran;
Look on its loveliness, so gran

To Build the Golden
Chrysalis
Sept. 8, 2011
I would like when I walk through the final door
To remember all things beautiful and true,
With no regrets sail to a unknown shore
And blue horizons as your eyes were blue.
Though when you left a part of me left too.
Now age upon me comes and fierce my toil
Still incomplete with battles to be won,
Fought on hard and unforgiving soil.
The feeling persists – I have not yet begun
Nor inward turned to greet the inner sun,
Aware so clearly now that I must seek
The golden chrysalis to build, prepare.
This work of change is not for the timid or weak
Who fear to climb the steep and narrow stair
Why
I Came
April
4, 2011
Something in the stillness softly calls,
A voice that seems my own from depths
within,
Despite the unplanned errors of the days
And the unconsciousness gropings in the dark.
Where the centre lies I cannot say,
Aware of only fragments of a truth
That lies in me and yet is hid from view.
I only know that this is why I came,
For the beauty of the Way on which I go,
The challenge and the daring of the game,
To unearth the secret held within this
clay,
The reason why my soul
takes birth in time.

India, Our State of Grace
April 15, 2011
I left the heat and humidity,
Mosquitoes and the monsoon rain,
Returned to a cold but friendly land
Where I was welcomed back again.
It is gentler here, the body at ease.
The pressure less and less the pain,
But there the soul is witness to
The future that on earth shall be
When we have left the past to die.
We who live in eternity
Must find the one who lives in us ,
Be done with such stupidity
To speak of things we do not know
Yet believe we truly understand.
A day shall come when all shall see
The miracle our souls demand
A vessel of the High command
Who knows earth as our dwellin

The Consciousness of God
Feb. 24, 2011
He trims the lamp and calls the Presence in
And when it comes he lives within the flame.
All things are known to him, the inner sight
Opens as a flower bud unfolds.
Witness of all that is destined still to come
Prophet, sanctified through birth and birth,
Guide and friend who counsels in the night
The striving soul walking the sharp edged lanes,
The byways where the fruits of falsehood grow
And all temptations on the upward route.
In his calm demeanour all he sees
But judges not the sinner or the saint
Above the mind he sees that all are one
A few ahead and few behind, but all
Destined to realize the soul one day
