THE IDEAL OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION
Physical education a practical discipline means a
systematic development of the body, its health, strength and capabilities. However there
are many such disciplines and each one of them has a philosophy of life
behind it. There are, for example, systems, which regard the body as a
complete fact in itself and then try to cultivate it as such and make it a more
efficient physical instrument. There are also systems, which regard man as not only a physical body, but as an active mind also. They

1. INTRODUCTORY PART:-
This is a period of initiation and the activities must be sufficiently
attractive and stimulating. The activities are generally well known big
muscle movements, carried out vigorously and continuously for a short
duration of about three to five minutes. There is an atmosphere of informality during these activities. An exhilarating introduction would act as a
leaven for good. But before starting the class all the students must be
made to come and stand in a line, properly arranged, numbered and the
